Chime Direct Deposit
Chime processes direct deposits instantly. As soon as Chime receives funds from your employer or benefactor, they post it to your account. The timings of the deposit may vary according to when the sender initiates payment to your Chime account. Deposits can be made Monday to Friday throughout the days.
If the deposits don’t reflect in your account, it means Chime has not received the funds yet. When the deposit arrives, you will get a push notification and an email to let you know about the funds.
How direct deposit works
Chime processes and posts direct deposits as soon as it receives it. Chime users will get a notification on their phone about the deposit when the funds reach their accounts.
If you are having an issue locating your direct deposit, you should contact your employer or benefactor and find out the time and date on which the money was sent. When a direct deposit is initiated by your employer or benefactor, it might take some time for the money to reflect in your Chime account. The funds go through several processes before being reflected in your Chime account.
All the processing steps are mandatory and Chime does not know at which process level the funds are until it arrives on Chime and they post it in your account.
